These are the terms and conditions governing any contract between Tanzania Safari Dreams (the provider of the services) and you (all persons traveling with us, named on a booking). They are essential, so please take the time to read them thoroughly. By confirming travel with Tanzania Safari Dreams, you acknowledge that you have read, fully understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 All services are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.
1.2 A deposit of 50% of the total value per person is required at the time of booking. In cases where a higher deposit is required for a specific tour, this will be communicated before confirmation.
1.3 Gorilla permits (where applicable) must be paid in full at the time of confirmation and are non-refundable. This is in addition to the standard non-refundable deposit.
1.4 The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the tour unless otherwise indicated. A percentage of the balance may be paid at the start of the tour if agreed upon. Failure to settle the balance by the due date without notice may result in the booking being treated as canceled, with normal cancellation conditions applied.
1.5 For bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking. The contract between us is finalized when we issue your confirmation invoice.
1.6 At the time of booking, full details for all passengers (names as they appear on passports) must be provided.
2. Prices
2.1 All prices are quoted and payable in US Dollars unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Prices quoted by Tanzania Safari Dreams are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until confirmed.
2.3 Prices include:
- Overnight accommodation as specified.
- National park and game reserve entrance fees.
- Overland and domestic air transportation as indicated.
- Driver and guide fees (excluding tips).
- Three meals per day as specified.
- Unlimited mineral water during safari (not at lodges/camps).
- Coffee/tea twice daily during the safari.
- Unlimited game drives.
2.4 Prices exclude:
- Personal expenses, insurance, laundry, and meals not stated.
- Drinks, passport/visa fees, tips, and international flights.
2.5 Meals provided include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, often with packed lunches or picnics.
2.6 Accommodation options vary depending on location and price plan and may include camping, tented camps, guest houses, and hotels.
2.7 Tanzania Safari Dreams reserves the right to substitute accommodation for those indicated in itineraries.
3. Descriptions and Services
3.1 All information and descriptions provided are based on the latest available information and are given in good faith. Tanzania Safari Dreams is not liable for deviations.
3.2 Transport will vary according to the itinerary and the number of clients. Vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy condition, but we accept no liability for breakdowns or delays.
3.3 Sub-contractors may be used when necessary.
3.4 Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed as they are wild, but our guides will work hard to provide the best viewing opportunities.
4. Complaints
4.1 If you are unhappy with any service or facility, inform your guide or representative immediately to resolve the issue promptly.
4.2 If unresolved, a formal complaint must be submitted to Tanzania Safari Dreams in writing within 28 days of tour completion. Complaints not notified as required will not be accepted.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
By You:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the tour: Loss of 50% of the deposit.
- Cancellation within 30 days: Loss of 50% of the total cost.
- Cancellation within 15 days: Loss of 100% of the total cost.
- Gorilla permits are non-refundable.
By Us:
- Tours may be canceled up to 60 days before the start date, with alternatives or refunds offered.
6. Alterations
6.1 Client-initiated changes to confirmed bookings will be accommodated where possible but may incur additional costs.
6.2 Tanzania Safari Dreams reserves the right to alter bookings, with options provided for similar or upgraded arrangements.
7. Liability
7.1 Tanzania Safari Dreams accepts no responsibility for illness, injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the tour.
7.2 We are not liable for the actions of third-party suppliers.
7.3 Travel involves inherent risks; participation is at your own risk.
8. Medical and Travel Documents
8.1 Clients are responsible for arranging required medical documents, visas, and travel permits.
8.2 Tanzania Safari Dreams accepts no liability for failure to meet these requirements.
9. Tour Authority
9.1 The guide’s authority is final to ensure safety and well-being.
9.2 Compliance with local laws and regulations is mandatory.
9.3 We reserve the right to refuse participation for behavior that endangers others.
